Alpha is a ten week course that has proved to be a very popular and easily understood introduction to the Christian faith. Over 2 million people in the UK and 10 million worldwide have now attended an Alpha course. It is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life, ask any questions (which we will do our best to answer!) and discover what Christians believe. There is no charge for the course.
The next Alpha course starts on Wednesday 22nd September 2010 and follows on every Wednesday evening.
The evening includes refreshments, a short talk on video, and then a discussion in small groups to talk about what has been presented in the video.
Everyone is welcome. The course is run three times a year in the Old Church Building on Wednesday evenings.

We are all works in progress, God has not finished with us yet. Paul writes "The one thing I do, however, is to forget what is behind me and do my best to reach what is ahead. So I run straight towards the goal in order to win the prize, which is God’s call through Christ Jesus to the life above." - Philippians 3:13-14.
