Due to extensive use of the Old Church Building we are now in the process of Fundraising for the new kitchen extension and provision of disabled toilet facilities. The building, which is Grade II listed dating back to 1861, is in need of modernisation to upgrade the kitchen facilities and refurbish the existing toilet block to provide a fully accessible WC for disabled users.
The total cost of the build is £128,820 (£107,350 before VAT). Currently we have raised a total of £85,437.82 including secured pledges. Added to this £21,470 VAT that we can reclaim leaves a further £21,912.18 (excluding VAT). If you would like to donate to this project or have any suggestions for fundraising opportunities then please email Jo Jeffers
We are very thankful to the local community, church family and Trusts and Foundations that have contributed to the cost of building works which began mid June 2019. The first phase of building works are now almost completed with the extension exterior works well under way.

We anticipate building works will begin again in March 2020.

3rd phase: Install two other separate toilet cubicles:
4th phase: To upgrade the fire alarm to comply with BS5839-1:2002 Fire detection and alarm system for buildings.
5th phase: To put in the new kitchen.
