Yapton Free Church is a friendly, lively bible-based church situated in the village of Yapton in the heart of the Six Villages area of West Sussex. We are just a few miles from Bognor Regis, Chichester, Littlehampton and Arundel We are focused on enjoying and sharing God's love in our community and further afield.  We seek to experience the power of the Holy Spirit in our church life and in our personal and family lives, bringing renewal and healing.  In the words of Jesus, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" - John 10:10. We are members of the UK Evangelical Alliance and also members of the International network of churches known as  Partners in Harvest Church Network. Listen to us Online! Kids! We are a family church and we welcome families and lively kids!   We have a Creche and Kids Club and Youth Group.  Crèche starts at 11.15am and finish at 12.30pm. The children will be offered a drink and a snack and there will be colouring and toys etc. All the crèche helpers have been CRB checked.   Kids Club - for all school age children (4-11years).  It is led by two teams on alternate months and they will be using the Scripture Union children's notes as their inspiration.  Once a month we have a special service entirely dedicated to the children - "Funday Sunday". Games, music, stories, a resident clown and a whole lot more!  All 5 - 11 years old welcome to this! All Creche Kids Club team have been CRB checked. Prayer and Ministry at our Church Members of the Church Ministry Team will be available to pray with you at any of our meetings if you so wish. The Ministry Team are a group of people who have been asked to serve on Sundays and other Church meetings, by the Elders when prayer and ministry takes place. The Ministry team wear badges so they can be clearly identified. "I became a Christian on 12th November 2008 at Yapton Free Church. "I had a hard start in life.  Put in a children's home before I was two years of age.  When I was twelve, someone did something to me which caused the down hill ski-ride in my life.  A crash course in destroying myself.  I went to prison twice through drinking and drugs.  I went through job to job and home to home as well as being homeless quite a few times.  The last time I was homeless was when I slept behind the Olive Branch Pub in Yapton.  "One Sunday morning I awoke behind the Olive Branch Pub which was a closed pub.  I found 3/4 of a bottle of Samburca from the night before.  So I downed the bottle at 10:30 in the morning and then decided to go for a walk and ended up at Yapton Free Church, talking to the leader, Hugo van Driel. The other leader, Gerald prayed for me in church that morning.  After they prayed for me I felt strange.  Not drunk strange - a completely different feeling.  "I then started to go on the Alpha Course.  Not long after that I became a Christian because the Lord saved me and now I love to praise the Father.  Amen!  "Thank you Lord for saving me."

Yapton Free Church Sunday Meetings Sunday 7th March 2010 Yapton Village Hall, 7:00pm Sunday March 7th. If you would like to watch, please click here This is an experimental trial and so please bear with us.  Please note this live broadcast is being hosted by an external site to Yapton Free Church.   The Church and Our World    A team of eight will be flying out to Kenya at the end of February. Living Hope Ministries from Lancing in Sussex are organising this trip. On arrival in Nairobi the team will divide, going to Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi, and Tanzania but meeting again for two days at the end, for a leaders conference. David Weaver from Yapton Free Church will be speaking at seminars in the slum areas if Nairobi (Kwarangare, Mathare and Kibera) for part of his time there. He will also be flying to Mombasa to take three days of meetings with Pastors and other leaders. He will be encouraging the preparing of young people to enter into ministry. The ministry of Elijah and Elisha will be the basis of his talks. We live in momentous days and all God’s people need to totally sure of where they are in God. Now is the time for a close and intimate walk with the living God, that we may hear Him clearly speaking to us. David thanks all those who have been so very generous in donating much needed cash to help with expenses and also for a marvellous sum of £280 – 00 for Bibles. Please pray for David as he flies out on the 28th February - and his wonderful wife, Pam who is back in England. http://www.living-hope.org.uk Yapton Free Church are proud to support Gaston Farm Lambing Days in 2010 Gaston Farm, Slindon, West Sussex, is getting ready for April Lambing 2010 and will be open to the public from 27th March until 25th April, every day, 10am - 5pm. A Big Thank You to everyone who visited them last year, and all the volunteers who gave up their time. Their support helped us raise over £4,000 for the Nepal Orphanage Children. 2010 Alpha Course! Talks available online now - click here Scott and Hilary Dalton spoke at Yapton Free Church recently, listen to what they shared with us. They have a passion to bring God's healing, deliverance and restoration to the body of Christ. As a result, God led them to found Rivers of Grace Ministries in 2001. They have ministered in various churches in Canada, India, Kuwait, England, Wales and Scotland.
