Children & Youth

We work in 15 different schools in West Sussex. Hugo van Driel our pastor leads assemblies and is always happy to come and lead an assembly at your School. If you wish for Hugo to do this, contact him

During Covid we have been looking at Creative ways to resource schools with assemblies. We are now offering our assemblies online via our Youtube channel. This is a work in progress and our local schools will be familiar with all the actions and songs. We are planning to make these available to all schools in the near future. You can access the channel via this link.

We have also lead a number of creative prayer spaces in local primary schools. If you would be interested in hosting a prayer space in your school please contact Jo

There are several things on that are just for the Youth at Yapton Free Church.

Friday Night

On a Friday night we meet at the Old Church Building from 7:30pm - 9:30pm for 11-14 year olds and 7:30pm - 10:30pm for 14+ A space where youth can come and hang out, play a variety of games & hear some good news for a change. The 'subs' is just £1 each that help to keep the equipment we use and do fun things throughout the year.

Boys and Girls Group

Boys and Girls group meet for a time of connecting, encouraging and growing in their relationship with God. These evenings often involve activities, worship, discussion, teaching, prayer, crafts and great snacks!

Girls Group meet every Monday evening at the Old Church Building from 7:30pm- 9pm. Led by Katie & team.

Boys Group meet every other Monday evening at the Old Church Building from 7pm - 8:30pm. Led by Will and team.

Once a term, Boys & Girls Group combine for a 'special' evening that looks a bit different to the usual groups!
